The city administration keeps intensifying the construction of flats in the capital. If the previous flat was only made as a residence, and now it will be equipped with public space for residents to interact with each other.
Jakarta Governor, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo disclosed the Rawa Bebek Flat was built on the land as wide as 176,448 square meters. Later on, the flat located in East Jakarta would have four blocks comprising six floors.

He added that there will also be RT caretaker offices, manager offices, levy payment counters, ballroom, grief room, buildings, security posts, small mosques, commercial rooms.
"Not only that, we also build a disabilities room," he added.
While the space on the second-sixth floor, Jokowi explained, will be transformed as a resident shelter given lift access and manual stair. On each floor, 20 units of rooms are provided in which if it is calculated reaching 400 units.
"Besides residence, we also provide public space," he stated.
